For decades, I’ve sent birthday greetings to friends by combining vintage photos with customized oddball captions.
For years, I’ve had people tell me these would be enjoyed by others. For weeks, I’ve been thinking about it.
For hours I’ve been online and right this second I’m wondering if this was such a good idea after all. It is — if people enjoy it.
Look, I’ve done my part. Now, it’s up to you to have fun with.
Randall Rudd has 20+ years in the movie/animation/CGI biz, starting with his first job as a movie monster. Since then he has produced & directed thousands of broadcast projects, was an early CGI pioneer, former Creative Director at Paramount Pictures, Abel Image Research, Energy Productions and Creative Alliance. Rudd is also active in theme park innovations, creative directing the world’s first 4-D project, Disney’s “Captain EO,” with producer George Lucas, director Frances Coppola and Michael Jackson. Rudd has extensive stage and live action directorial experience directing athletes, performers, and celebrities worldwide and has been awarded numerous local, regional, national and international awards from Cannes Lions, Clio’s, Monitor’s, Telly’s, national, regional and over 50 Addy Awards for advertising excellence. Rudd is an adjunct professor at the University of Incarnate Word University.
